I started knitting about eighteen months ago after having wanted to learn for absolutely ages - not having anyone I knew as a knitter I bought myself a book and away I went!
Since starting I've discovered that I actually come from a family of keen knitters and have inherited a lot of needles and spare yarn from my Granny and Nana.
With the help of a couple of knitting forums and a lot of practice I would say I'm almost an intermediate knitter now and am branching away from just knitting by making my own stitchmarkers and now creating my own hand-dyed sock yarn.
